Refund & Cancellation Policy
How the free trial converts to a paid subscription, how to cancel before it does, and how to get your money back.

1. The free trial
PDFSummaryReport offers a 7-day free trial. Starting it requires a valid payment card. The card is authorised at the start of the trial; no charge is taken during the trial.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically at the end of day 7 and the first payment is taken at the plan price shown at checkout. It then renews on the same interval — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — until you cancel.
We email you a receipt for every payment. Paddle, our merchant of record, also emails a reminder before a trial converts and before a yearly subscription renews.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, including during the trial. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
- In the app: Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. That opens the Paddle customer portal, where “Cancel subscription” ends it.
- By email: write to info@mail.thepdfreport.com from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you.
Cancelling during the trial takes no payment at all. Cancelling a paid subscription stops the next renewal, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
3. Refunds
Your purchase is covered by the refund policy of Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record, and by its buyer terms. Paddle takes the payment and Paddle issues the refund.
If you are not happy with PDFSummaryReport, ask us and we will refund you. We do not ask why, we do not require you to have used it a certain amount, and we do not hold back part of the payment for the time you had access.
This applies to subscription payments and to credit packs alike. Credits granted by a refunded payment are removed from your workspace when the refund is issued — the money and the credits go back together.
4. Your statutory rights
Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK have a right to withdraw within 14 days of a purchase, which Paddle sets out in section 15 of its buyer terms and administers. Nothing on this page asks you to give up a statutory right, and nothing here is a condition on one.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email info@mail.thepdfreport.com from the address on the account, or request it directly from Paddle at paddle.net using the details on your receipt. Either route works; neither is a condition of the other.
We reply within 2 business days and submit the refund to Paddle within 5 business days. Paddle returns the money to the original payment method; banks typically take a further 5–10 business days to show it.
6. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, emailing us or Paddle is usually faster than going through your bank — which is Paddle's own advice in section 4 of its buyer terms. Asking us for a refund is never a precondition of raising a chargeback, and we would simply rather fix the problem.
